Collector Crypt Bonus Points Guide: What they are, how they work and what you can do with them
Until now, the sole purpose of Collector Crypt bonus points was to redeem them for free packs. Now with CollectrCash, you can also sell bonus points for USDC or top up your points balance if you are short of the amount needed to redeem a free pack. This plain-English guide covers how bonus points work and what your options are with them. CollectrCash is an independent, unofficial site, run by a Pokémon and Collector Crypt enthusiast.
What are Collector Crypt bonus points?
Collector Crypt bonus points are off-chain points tracked by Collector Crypt; earned in a variety of ways. Firstly, the most common way to earn bonus points is by opening Collector Crypt Gacha packs. Different packs net you different amounts of points (obviously more expensive packs = more points).
Secondly, you can earn bonus points by holding Collector Crypt’s governance token, $CARDS. These points drops are made every month. At last count, holding 250k tokens qualified you for one free $50 pack (100,000 points). Holding ANY amount of $CARDS will qualify you for free points: the amount you receive is simply prorated. Founder Tuomas Holmberg said that the amount of points distributed for holding cards “isn’t a fast rule” and that it “depends on the number of circulating tokens and the value of the token”.
Lastly, bonus points can be earned by referring other people to Collector Crypt (using your personal referral link). From time to time, Collector Crypt also runs special events or “games” like the recent “September Gacha Games” – and these events provide users the opportunity to enhance their bonus points earnings.
Which packs can you redeem points for?
There are currently 10 packs you can redeem points for. Each can also be bought with USDC:
| Pack | Points | USDC price |
|---|---|---|
| Elite Pokémon and One Piece Ocean Blue | 100,000 | $50 |
| Legendary Pokémon, One Piece Crew, Basketball 250, Baseball 250 and Football 250 | 500,000 | $250 |
| Grail Pokémon and One Piece Emperor | 2,000,000 | $1,000 |
| Celestial Pokémon | 10,000,000 | $5,000 |
Prices were added manually and are subject to change. Confirm them on Collector Crypt.
Four ways to use your points
Redeem points for packs
If you hold enough points for the pack you want, you can redeem them on Collector Crypt instead of paying in USDC.
Sell them to CollectrCash for USDC
CollectrCash pays $0.35 per 1,000 points. Minimum 1,000 points. For example, 20,000 points pays $7.00, and 100,000 points pays $35.00.
Top up points
If you don’t quite have the points you need, you can top up the missing points from CollectrCash, then redeem the pack.
Send to a friend
If you’re really kind, you can also send points to another Collector Crypt user (they MUST have used one of the Gachas to receive them).
Not sure which path to take? By pasting your wallet address into our points calculator (or manually entering your points & USDC balance), pick a pack, and it compares the routes.
What are Collector Crypt points worth?
As noted, bonus points are off-chain and have no public market price. What they’re worth depends on how you use them. You can redeem points for packs, sell them to CollectrCash ($0.35 per 1,000 points), or top up points balances to reach the pack you’re aiming for.
For reference, a 100,000-point pack is the equivalent of $50 in USDC. The points calculator shows which route costs you the least for the pack you want and lets you compare the pack price with what you would pay or receive for the points. These are estimates only, and prices can change.
How CollectrCash works
Selling points
Open the Sell tab, enter how many points you want to sell, then send them from your Collector Crypt account to the address shown. You are paid automatically in USDC on Solana, to the wallet that sent them. Rate: $0.35 per 1,000 points. Minimum 1,000 points. This rate is subject to change and may increase when CollectrCash wants to incentivize sellers.
Buying points
Open the Buy tab, enter the amount of points you wish to receive and your Collector Crypt wallet, then pay the exact USDC amount shown. The points are sent to your wallet automatically once the payment arrives. If the paying wallet is different from the receiving wallet, your order may not be matched automatically and could be delayed. If that happens, contact CJ in our Telegram. Pricing is in brackets, per order: $0.85 per 1,000 for points 1 to 10,000; $0.60 per 1,000 for points 10,001 to 30,000; $0.55 per 1,000 for points 30,001 to 50,000. For example, 50,000 points cost $31.50 in total.
Limits
Buying: minimum 1,000 points, maximum 50,000 points per order and 50,000 points per wallet per 24 hours. For larger orders, contact CJ in the CollectrCash Telegram. The largest ‘special purchase’ order we have conducted to date is 250,000 points.
